Q

How do you each stay close with God in spite of a busy schedule?

Bread of Stone responded on 08/31/2014
A

For me I believe everything I do throughout the day is for Jesus. No matter if it's setting up, tearing down, performing, talking with people, eating, sharing, driving down the road. It's all for Him.

So my heart always wants to be focused on how I can be a better servant for The Lord.

Also, I make sure to surround my self with the right people. Like my band members who are wanting to serve The Lord in the same way!

God bless you,
Bill

Q

Will you be a secret guest star at the Poteet Steawberry Festival on 4/14?

That sounds like a wonderful idea but I don't believe that's in the works as in right now! But you never know!

Thx for the question and keep them coming!

Q

Will you be back in St. Joe, Mo. again? I'm originally born in Sioux City. The band really moved and touched my heart. I am a bass player and will order a cd. Love you and the messages in the music.

Hi Laura,

I don't believe we have a date on the books for St. Joe at the moment but our schedule is constantly changing!

So please check back on our website and social media for show updates! Hopefully we will be coming to a town near you very soon!

God bless you and thank you for taking the time to ask us a question!

Q

What is the best piece of advice someone has ever given you that you like to pass onto others?

Bread of Stone responded on 08/31/2014
A

Wow! Great question!

Thankfully The Lord has put such great leadership in my life with such great parents that I am constantly getting great advice.

But really, I am a very basic guy. And the advice that sticks out in my heart the most is very basic.

My dad always says, "Do everything for Jesus. No matter what! And don't think about yourself. Just think about and love Jesus!"

To me this is the secret of life.

God bless you,
Bill

Q

Hey, I met you guys recently at the Strawberry Festival(:
So far, what has been one of the most memorable things you guys have done or experienced? -Renee

A

Most memorable...hmm...good question.

Traveling is such a blessing to get to do. I would say for me one of the most memorable is traveling to Indonesia to work with our ministry THE LIGHT PROJECT.

When we go back to Indonesia not only to I get to see family and friends that I grew up with while living there when I was little but also experiencing helping ministers of the gospel in Indonesia is life changing. Their servant hood is humbling.

Sometimes those moments that seem small do a big work in our hearts.

God bless you,
Bill

Q

Do you write your own music? Have you ever come up music and sang a song written by someone else (ex. Another's testimony, life struggles, etc)?
Thanks, Candace J (Longview, TX)

Bread of Stone responded on 08/31/2014
A

Hi Candace,

Great question! We do write our own music! Most of the songs are written by Ben, my brother (lead singer).

We do get inspiration from individuals testimonies who we meet on the road and at shows.

We write with other writers and producers occasionally to gain a different perspective on music.

So yeah, it's always amazing to see the different ways The Lord brings songs to us!

God bless you,
Bill
